EnviroVision employs individuals certified as Asbestos Safety Technicians (ASTs) by New Jersey’s Department of Community Affairs (NJDCA) in accordance with New Jersey Administrative Code (N.J.A.C.) 5:23-8 (subchapter 8). In-house training, yearly asbestos worker supervisor refresher courses, and frequent attendance & participation at environmental conferences and seminars keep
our technicians up-to-date on all current rules, regulations, and methods.

USEPA AHERA building inspectors, management planners, and project designers employed by EnviroVision have to take yearly refresher courses and examinations at United States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA)-approved training centers in order to keep their certifications valid.  Our in-house training programs provide further opportunities for our team to excel in the asbestos field.

Our lead inspectors / risk assessors have all taken USEPA approved training courses and are certified by the New Jersey Department of Health as lead inspectors. Bi-yearly refresher courses are required to maintain their certifications.

All laboratory personnel are trained in hazard communications and laboratory safety. Microscopists have all taken the NIOSH 582 course ‘sampling and analyzing asbestos dust’ or its equivalent. Round robin quality control with other laboratories ensures that our technicians meet stringent quality control standards.

EnviroVision provides fungi & mold, radon and other types of environmental testing.  All projects are considered and treated on an individual basis.
